We headed south east to Georgia a few weeks ago for Formula D round 2, where we got to have the first official I Drink Good Beer gathering. Â Above we have our contributor and Drift Aliiance ace, John Wagner waiting for a practice run. Â He was there for business but was unable to make the round of top 32 competition. Â You win some you lose some but losing gave us an excuse to knock back some good brew back at Wagner's trailer.
Enough of drifting though, this post is about Taco Mac!  Taco Mac's are only found in Tennessee and Georgia.  First let me just say If I had one of these by my house I would be flat broke!  The first thing that caught my eye on the 50+ taps on the wall was the Sierra Nevada Harvest Wet Hop Ale, I signaled for the bar tender and ordered one asap.  As soon as he poured it, it was kicked. I was able to get the last glass and felt privilege seeing as Guyre ordered one and got shafted!
Wagner getting down on 2 Lagunitas Gnarley Wine's. I had to help him finish the 2nd one because he was getting fazed. This barley wine was hoppy, sweet and very drinkable, not a good thing with this brew having and ABV of 10% .
We also attended a South East Drift event which was held at Turner Field in the city of Atlanta. Just a few pics below
