The upcoming new year, approaching quickly, makes for the 15th anniversary of Victory Brewing. With the upcoming occasion, Victory has announced their latest and greatest brew is in the works claiming it as their newest flagship beer. Headwaters Pale Ale pays homage to the most important ingredient not only in the brew process, but in life in general...Water.
Their specific inspiration for this one comes from their local water source, the Brandywine Creek. Keep an eye out for this one, supposedly being released February 15th 2011. Check out what Victory has to say..
Besides  brewing really great beers, Victory has an excellent menu at their attached eatery & pub and makes for an awesome destination, anytime. They are located in beautiful Downingtown, Pennsylvania. If you have never been to the area before, this part of rural Southeastern PA is filled with character; littered with small historic towns, deep woods, and rolling open spaces all while being about 40 miles from downtown Philadelphia.
Besides Victory being an obvious draw to anybody who reads this blog, there are a ton of great places to get some food and enjoy a few pints nearby. If you happen to head to Victory sometime, which I recommend you do, make sure your trip includes time to also check out The Drafting Room in nearby Exton and the local Iron Hill Brewery in downtown West Chester.
