Notes: With so many releases this past weekend you had to pick your battles wisely. Kane released ANTEAD, Finback released a barrel aged BQE and our friends at Magnify released their second bottle, Flashback’s Are Forever. For a brewery that is less than a year old, I am shocked that they are turning out awesome bottles like this. There are not too many new comers doing bottle releases right out of the gate and it’s great to see Magnify take the chance. This Saison is unreal. So much hop character and the brett blend they used brought the barn to the glass. I couldn’t help but to have a few 8oz pours of the beer on my visit, it’s that damn good. Not that I encourage trading and muling but if you want something special for the holidays from the garden state, seek out this saison. Thanks to Eric and his family for a good time Saturday.
