THE PEEKSKILL BREWERY

THE PEEKSKILL BREWERY BLOG

The Peekskill Brewery has been around for quite some time. If you drink in the hudson valley or even in NYC, you probably have had one of their delicious beers. Whether it is Eastern Standard or Simple Sour, their beer is some of the best in the empire state and a must for everyone that visits New York. I had the chance to spend some time there last week and they had a lot going on. Lets check it out.

The brewery may be on the small side but they crank out a lot of beer,  making styles of all sorts. You name it, they’ve made it. They were in the process of kegging up a coffee pale ale and moments away from knocking out a hoppy lager in their coolship. A very exciting morning.

After the knockout there was some beer tasting that had to happen.

Food was also in order. The lunch menu is short and sweet and they even offer a $12 deal that will land you a tasty sandwich and a glass of beer. I would also like to mention that you shouldn’t sleep on the poutine. It’s fantastic.

I would like to thank Matt and the gang for having me out. Peekskill is one of my favorite breweries in the tri-state area and I am finally glad I can share it with you all. They are open weekly for lunch and dinner, so hop in car or catch a train and get yourself a glass of beer and that scrumptious poutine. Cheers!
