The Lost Abbey Devotion

It's time to dive in to the other side of the latest breweries to hit New Jersey via our good friends at Hunterdon. There has been a good amount of hype surrounding The Lost Abbey's beers' arrival so I figured I would start with one of their familiar suspects - Devotion Ale, a dry hopped Belgian-inspired Blond Ale. Devotion Ale is a very unique Lost Abbey beer as it's the only one in the portfolio that uses the dry hopping method, while toning down the yeast to give a flavorful and hoppy Belgian Pale Ale element. Having read up on it and having had a glass at the kick-off party, I couldn't wait to hit the store for a few bottles of this delicious brew.

Of course, I couldn't resist the opportunity to spoil a selfless act, so I ended up picking up just as many for myself as I did my friends.
Samuel Adams Thirteenth Hour

The Samuel Adams Barrel Room Collection is a series of beers brewed in Belgian Style. Since today is International Stout Day I figured I would share the latest addition to Sam Adams' Barrel Room Collection, Thirteenth Hour.
