Maker: OEC Brewing Company – Oxford, Connecticut
Style: Gose
ABV: 4.9%
IBU: N/A
Notes: I love OEC! If you are a sour freak like me, anything from them is worth seeking out. The neat thing about most of their beers is that they spend some time in a cool ship before being transferred into primary fermentation. Here we have Salsus Singularis. A semi spontaneously fermented gose aged in syrah barrels for 6 months with grape skins from the napa valley in California. It’s fantastic and not like your typical kettle sour gose’s that you see floating around these days. It’s only available at the brewery in Connecticut and with the holiday a few days away, it makes the perfect gift for the sour drinker in your life. Cheers.
