So it has been a busy few months for the Bolero Snort gang, prepping barrel aged beers is no easy feet, and it’s great to see them taking a stab at it. For the latest batch of barrel aged beer, Andrew and Bob have teamed up with Gary’s Wine Market, taking their flagship Blackhorn Lager, and letting it sit in a Mount Gay Rum Barrel for a year with Coconut, and Vanilla.
Taking on elements from the rum barrel it sat in, Blackbeard’s Blackhorn is one interesting brew, and you will be very rewarded if you make it out and grab yourself a bottle.
The latest release, is much more exclusive than the Barrel Aged Java Horn, as it can only be found at the Gary’s Wine Markets throughout NJ. Three stores to be exact.
