Being friends with the North East’s premier mobile canning company has it’s perks from time to time. When Tyler Willie of Iron Heart Canning invited us up to Otter Creek last week, we couldn’t say no. By now I am sure you have all seen or heard about Joint Custody. A collaboration beer between two of New England’s biggest and best beer makers. Otter Creek and Jacks Abby have teamed up to bring you all something special and it is hitting the market this month.
We just love Otter Creeks branding and this can is up there as some of the best label art we have seen this year. The way they adapt Brew Master Mike and his VW bus at every turn is amazing. Incorporating Jack, Sam and Eric from Jacks Abby on this can was really cool to see in person after observing it all over the internet weeks prior.
With many cans to fill. Iron Heart Canning rolled in two of its Wild Goose Machines to do the run. The amount of volume they can do with these mobile canning lines is quite fascinating.
Over two days. 3,000 cases of this fantastic beer were packaged by the Iron Heart Crew.
Being on this canning run was a blast. The beer is fantastic and we can’t wait to see what the Otter Creek and Jacks Abby fans think of it. Just in case you are worried about getting a taste. The beer will be available at the brewery and all the markets that Otter Creek is sold, both on draft and in these great looking cans. Thanks to Tyler and Otter Creek for having us out.
