NOTES:The tart wheat ale known as the berliner has found new meaning state side and with breweries making the style their way, you can find them almost everywhere. My friends at Newburgh have one of their own and it has arrived just in time to kick of the spring and summer months. I wonder what JFK would think about this beer and if would have been supplied to the troops at Checkpoint Charlie during the Cold War. Either way, it’s awesome and if you are local to NJ and NY.
