This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending another Stibinger Brothers beer tasting. By pitting their Red Ale against their White Ale, the event was designed as an opportunity for the people to decide which beer goes into production when they have their launch next year. Aside from the Red and White Ales, Gabor and Adam brought a very special brew of a style that is near and dear to my heart.6544121929 7ab0023e31 z Event Stibinger Brothers Beer Red Ale V.S. Let the beer pouring commence. Adam and Gabor began serving up their brew for the thirsty congregation.

They also had some sweet glasses printed up for the event.

As always there were informative sheets regarding the brews being served with ingredients, suggested food pairings, and a great description of the beer so you know exactly what to look for when tasting their hand crafted beers.

Having had the Red Ale a few months back (at this very spot) I couldn't wait to come back to and sample it again. Smooth, toasty, slightly hoppy, this beer goes down real easy and is very refreshing.

I love their white ale! It is such a good session beer. If you remember we attended their White Ale tasting over the summer when they had two slightly different recipes for this brew - letting the people once again pick their favorite. Ultimately, Version A would find its way to the winner's circle and was brewed again for the day's throw down. It is full of flavor, light, crisp, very refreshing and weighs in at 4.3% abv so you can have a couple without over-doing it.

The day's specialty beer was a Black IPA which blew me away. Gabor and Adam have been telling me about this recipe for quite some time and I can finally stop bothering them to brew it. They really nailed this one; it's the best Black IPA I have had yet and can go toe to toe with some of the big guns out on the market now. They even had some home-made beer bread floating around that was made with the spent grains from the brewing of the beer courtesy of Jamie at NJ Bar and Grill. Don't you just love it when beer finds its way into food?

It was time to fill out the questionnaire. This feedback will help Gabor and Adam decide what they put out next year.

This had to be one of the busiest tastings the Stibinger Brothers have done yet. I was so happy to see all the people that came out to support Adam and Gabor in their quest. We had  a great day hanging out with the boys and chatting it up with some of the folks there. A big thanks goes out to NJ Bar & Grill West for hosting the event, as well as all who attended. We will be doing plenty with Stibinger Brothers in 2012 so stay tuned.
