THE GNARLY BARLEY

The Gnarly Barley 1
On our recent trip to Orlando for a wedding, we couldn’t help but to galavant around the city to find some of the best tap rooms around. One of those places is, The Gnarly Barley. The once good old boys bar,  has been re done into to one of the best tap rooms in Orlando, and despite what you might have heard about the “OBT,” this is a must go to spot for anyone visiting Disney, or what ever the hell else you do in Florida.

The outside is unassuming but the friendly logo of a few sandwiches sharing a pint assures you a good bite, and some beers are within.

Inside we are greeted with a small, yet comfortable eating area and bar, all made from reclaimed wood from an old barn.

Even the floor.

The days draft list was spectacular. Do you want Prairie? Maybe Fat Heads? Or how about some locals? Cask & Larder, Wynwood, I could have drank here all day.

Joel got the Red Drum, Red Ale from Cask & Larder, which was ironically on cask.

I needed some funk, and went for some Prairie Birra. A fantastic beer, and they are more than lucky to get this down in Florida.

The Gnarly Barley 9With 15 taps flowing, you can always find something for everyone with a wide range of styles and flavors.

The Gnarly Barley 6They have a lot of great pub grub here at a reasonable price. I highly recommend the brisket and bacon sandwich. Definitely ask for extra Tiger Sauce.

The food is amazing, and the beer selection is top notch at The Gnarly Barley. I will purposely plan my flights so I can both have a pint when I land and take off next time I am in town. A big thanks to Joe for having us out, we shall see you soon my friend.
